Nigeria U17 defeated Virgin Kids Academy 3-1 in a friendly encounter played at the Fifa Goal Project ground in Abuja on Saturday.
A brace from Victor Osimehen and a strike from Kehinde Ayinde were all the Eaglets needed to seal the win against the amateur side who raced into the lead through Samson Ekemezie.

Speaking after the game, Nigeria U-17’s assistant coach praised his team for putting up a brave showing in the difficult game.
"Unlike the game we played on Wednesday, today's match is a bit harder for the boys especially the new ones but we are happy we won," said Kabiru Baleria.
“The more we play these matches the better for us since it would help our preparation for the African Championship in Niger.”
The Golden Eaglets will face hosts, Niger, Guinea and Zambia in Group A of the African U17 Championship to be staged in Niger Republic.
