Drunk man finds himself in jail after ramming car into police station

Police were able to easily put a drunk driver behind bars after he allegedly rammed his vehicle into a police station wall, police in the United Kingdom said. Cheshire Police said that investigators believe that the driver lost control inside a parking lot located next to the police station. 

The driver ended up crashing into the Frodsham police station around 12:20 a.m. on Friday. The Ford Fiesta was left leaning against the wall of the station. Luckily, no one was hurt in the incident. Police officers who were on duty at the station, said that they heard a crashing noise before heading outside to investigate. 

There was no major structural damage to the police station. Police arrested the 49-year-old driver on charges of drunk driving. 

The man was brought before a magistrate’s court judge for a bail hearing, where he was released on his own recognizance.
